About the Role
As a Residential HVAC Field Technician, you will serve as a key technical expert dedicated to ensuring home comfort and system reliability. You will leverage your diagnostic expertise to maintain, repair, and optimize a wide variety of climate control systems, directly impacting the safety and efficiency of our customers' living environments.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform complex repairs on residential forced-air, geothermal, ductless, steam, and hot water systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic instrumentation to resolve intricate airflow, refrigerant, fuel, and electrical performance issues.
- Drive customer satisfaction by providing clear, professional communication regarding system health and potential efficiency upgrades.
- Manage mobile inventory levels to ensure timely, first-time completion of service calls and repairs.
- Document service activities and manage workflow efficiently using industry-standard field management software like Service Titan.
- Mentor junior team members to foster technical growth and maintain high service standards across the department.
Required Skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC industry standards, safety protocols, and local building codes.
- Proven ability to independently manage residential service calls.
Preferred Skills
- 3 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service and maintenance.
- Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting high-efficiency and specialized heating/cooling equipment.
