- Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee road readiness and safety compliance.
- Maintain meticulous logs and documentation to adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Uphold high standards of equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity.
- Navigate complex traffic patterns and challenging weather conditions with a focus on accident prevention.
- Coordinate with site personnel to facilitate the seamless loading and unloading of cargo.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Proven track record of maintaining a clean driving history.
- In-depth understanding of federal and state motor carrier safety regulations.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, kneeling, and securing loads.
