Role Overview
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair, troubleshooting, and preventative upkeep of our manufacturing machinery and utility infrastructure. Success in this position demands proficiency in refrigeration, electrical systems, mechanical repair, and machine controls. Your duties will involve managing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance, enhancing maintenance strategies, and creating predictive maintenance schedules. You will also be tasked with identifying necessary components and placing orders for repairs. While experience with specific assets like freeze dryers, walk-in freezers, chillers, cooling towers, and vacuum pumps is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations is expected.
Key Duties
- Execute repairs and troubleshooting tasks to ensure production schedules are met while helping the team maintain a safe and compliant operational environment.
- Complete all scheduled preventative maintenance tasks according to established guidelines.
- Source and acquire the necessary parts for repairs, ensuring that the integrity and validated state of the equipment are preserved.
- Record all maintenance and repair activities within the CMMS and relevant logbooks.
- Maintain full compliance with site-specific SOPs and cGMP standards throughout your daily work.
Qualifications
- Required: A minimum of two years of professional experience in mechanical or refrigeration work.
- Preferred: An Associate degree in HVAC or refrigeration from a technical institution, complemented by two years of industrial experience.

Physical Demands
The role involves occasional lifting of weights up to 50 lbs. You may work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, or unconditioned spaces. Daily tasks may require extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, climbing, or crouching.
