• Direct the production of complex technical drawings, ensuring all specifications align with project objectives.
• Serve as a technical authority by reviewing and validating drafting work to maintain rigorous quality control.
• Optimize internal drafting workflows and CAD standards to boost overall team productivity and design accuracy.
• Partner with engineering and project management stakeholders to translate design requirements into actionable fabrication plans.
• Facilitate the professional growth of junior staff through hands-on training and technical mentorship.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• 5 years of professional experience in technical drafting, specifically within millwork and metal fabrication.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Microvellum software suites.
• Deep understanding of commercial construction standards, material properties, and modern fabrication techniques.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
