We are seeking an Associate (1–2 years of experience) to join our Real Estate Department in either our Lake Success or Brooklyn office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience working closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of commercial real estate matters.

We are seeking an Associate (1–2 years of experience) to join our Real Estate Department in either our Lake Success or Brooklyn office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience working closely with experienced practitioners on a broad range of commercial real estate matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the negotiation and drafting of commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
- Support attorneys in real estate transactions from contract through closing
- Conduct due diligence, including review of title reports, surveys, and related documents
- Participate in real estate financing transactions representing borrowers and lenders
- Assist in drafting and reviewing construction access agreements and handling matters related to RPAPL
- 881 proceedings
- Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Perform legal research and draft memoranda as needed
- Support general real estate and transactional matters within the department
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar (or pending admission)
- 1–2 years of experience in commercial real estate or a related practice area
- Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
- Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience
