This Position reports to: Director of Sales - East Territory Your Role and Responsibilities: The Territory Sales Manager leads territory sales and business development for the Robotics Division’s General Industry and Consumer Segment / Service Robotics businesses and ABB Robotics overall Market Share. This role is responsible for driving development of robot sales and robot systems leads and develop ABB’s business with end customers and System Integrators for robotic products, systems, and services. Position requires the ability to travel up to 60%-70% of the time. Sell >$6M in product sales during the next 12 months (100 robots). Develop and implement plans to penetrate target list of end customers in the territory Identify, qualify, acquire, and develop 5 to 7 capable and successful channel partners in the territory Submit complete and accurate proposal and forecast information Utilize value base selling techniques with customers and demonstrate ROI sales approach to key customers Our Team Dynamics Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Qualifications for the Role: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years’ relevant experience, Associate’s Degree with 7+ years’, or High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of sales experience Experience selling automation solutions, preferably robotics and robotic systems across varied applications Proven ability to develop and maintain both large and small customer accounts Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all levels of customer personnel, from management to labor Willingness to proactively build a customer base, including making cold calls Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools Ability to travel up to 60-70% of the time within the region What’s in it for you?
