This Position reports to:

Segment Sales Manager Passenger


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will take ABB Marine Propulsion to a new segment and grow it to the full potential. You build client relationships, open doors to new opportunities and actively meet client needs. The ideal candidate combines a deep segment knowledge with a sharp commercial mindset, capable of structuring competitive yet profitable proposals and navigating complex requirements.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, #LIhybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Developing and executing sound sales strategies that expands our client base and extends global reach.
  • Representing ABB Marine Propulsion, especially in cooperation with our Business Line Coast Guard & Navy effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our products and services.
  • Communicating our value proposition to clients.
  • Identifying and driving development of market opportunities.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes.

Qualifications for the role
  • Proven ability to manage complex commercial requirements related to Navy and Coast Guard contracts.
  • Degree in engineering / mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in a managerial position in Coast Guard and Navy, or a supplier.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and execute a sales / marketing strategy.
  • You are either EU, Norway or US citizen.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
