Our client is a professional services firm. They seek a Senior Events Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of firm-wide events, including conferences, seminars, client receptions, webinars, and internal meetings
- Develop event strategies aligned with business development, marketing, and brand objectives
- Manage event budgets, vendor negotiations, contracts, and procurement processes
- Coordinate logistics, including venues, travel, accommodations, catering, audiovisual needs, and production services
- Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing teams, and practice groups to ensure event alignment with firm priorities
- Oversee event timelines, project plans, and deliverables to ensure flawless execution
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners
- Measure event performance through KPIs, attendance metrics, feedback, and ROI analysis
- Ensure brand consistency across all event materials and experiences
- Supervise and mentor junior events staff or coordinators
- Identify opportunities to enhance event engagement, innovation, and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, risk management standards, and industry regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4-9 years of progressive experience in event management, corporate events, or marketing events
- Experience managing end-to-end logistics, including vendor coordination, budgeting, and contract negotiation
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- High-energy, service-oriented mindset focused on delivering exceptional experiences
