Our client is an asset management firm. They seek a Senior Associate, Social Media Specialist to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Direct social channel strategy (LinkedIn, X, YouTube), defining content pillars, success metrics, posting cadence, and experimentation to elevate brand visibility and engagement
- Craft on-brand copy for all social channels and coordinate the development of accompanying graphic assets with the design team
- Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to amplify launches, campaigns, and key brand moments across social platforms
- Enforce brand standards and social governance, including tone of voice, design guidelines, tagging hygiene, and compliance approvals
- Lead paid social strategy, managing budgets, audience targeting, and performance goals
- Translate internal needs into paid social briefs and oversee campaign setup, QA, launch, pacing, optimization, and reporting
- Align paid social efforts with channel marketing, sales, and web teams to ensure cohesive creative direction, landing page performance, and measurement frameworks
- Define measurement standards by establishing the source of truth, implementing UTM/tagging requirements, and ensuring pixel tracking accuracy
- Establish a reporting cadence that provides insight into channel and post-level performance relative to defined success metrics
- Leverage analytics to highlight wins, diagnose performance issues, and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field
- 4-7 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in asset management, financial services, or related industry
- Experience developing and executing organic and paid social strategies across social channels
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy across multiple deliverables
- Experience managing social campaigns, including budgeting, campaign setup, organization, and reporting
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and communicate insights
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience with LinkedIn, X, and YouTube with a keen eye on evolving trends and best practices
- Experience with Canva, Figma, or Photoshop preferred
