Our client is an advertising company. They seek a Finance Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the budgeting and actual reporting process
- Partner with various finance and business teams to prepare full P&L revenue and expense budgets, maintain detailed master budget files, and complete uploads to HFM
- Oversee the monthly close and actual reporting, including analysis of revenue/billings and expenses/accruals; prepare journal entries, clear intercompany mismatches, and produce monthly actual reports
- Administer Altair workflows
- Develop financial reports, analyses, and reconciliations to support management decision-making
- Create PowerPoint presentations for Management
- Compile annual and quarterly required reports, including Client Profitability Report (CPR), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and tax packages
- Coordinate the provision of information to support internal and external audits
- Enforce compliance with Company Policies and Procedures
- Contribute to special projects as directed or initiated independently
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with the monthly close process is a plus
- Detail-oriented and highly analytical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA is a plus
