Our client is a law firm. They seek a Business Services Recruiter to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for entry- to mid-level Business Services Professional (BSP) roles across departments such as IT, Talent, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal Support
- Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions, define qualifications, and structure interview processes
- Identify candidates through job boards, databases, social media, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Evaluate applicants by screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, coordinating interview schedules, and guiding stakeholders through the hiring process while recommending qualified candidates
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Coordinate with Human Resources colleagues to ensure a seamless transition from offer stage through onboarding
- Recommend competitive salary offers by utilizing pay grades, benchmarking tools, internal equity considerations, and external market data
- Monitor recruitment activity, update pipeline reports, and share insights with Human Resources leadership
- Support initiatives aimed at improving candidate experience, employer brand presence, and process efficiency
- Engage in job fairs and networking events to strengthen outreach and brand visibility
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Law firm experience required
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders
- Professional Recruiter Certification is a plus
- PHR, SPHR, aPHR, PHR a plus
- Workday and/or ICIMS (ATS) is a plus
