Join our Rapid Care team in Martinsburg, West Virginia as a part-time Advanced Practice Provider. We offer flexible scheduling and a collaborative clinical environment where you’ll provide high-quality care for patients with a range of acute illnesses and minor injuries.
What you’ll do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute and episodic medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Perform procedures within your scope of practice and credentialing
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when needed
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Nurse Practitioner qualifications
- Master’s degree from a CCNE-accredited nursing program
- National APRN certification from a recognized certifying body
- Licensed or eligible for RN and APRN licensure in West Virginia
- FNP or ACNP certification preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required; PALS encouraged
Physician Assistant qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an ARC-PA approved PA program
- NCCPA certification required
- Licensed or eligible for licensure through the West Virginia Board of Medicine or the West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required
Experience
- Acute care, urgent care, or emergency medicine experience preferred
- Eligible new graduates will be considered
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and clinical staff
