- Conduct comprehensiveeconomic and market data analysisusing primary and secondary sources
- Performindustry trend analysis, demographic studies, and economic impact assessments
- Developbaseline market reportsand competitive analyses for target sectors
- Preparegrant funding summariesand performance metrics for program evaluation
- Create clear, compellingdata visualizations(dashboards, infographics, charts)
- Producecase studieshighlighting successful economic development initiatives
- Synthesize complex findings into executive summaries and policy briefs
- Maintain organized documentation of research methodologies and data sources
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support program development
- Collaborate with project teams to identify key performance indicators
- Support grant applications with relevant market research and needs assessments
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating program outcomes
- Bachelor's degree inStatistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum3 years professional experienceinmarket research, economic analysis, or data analytics
- Demonstrated experience working withpublic sector dataand reporting requirements
- Proficiency instatistical software(R, Python, SPSS, or STATA) anddata visualization tools(Tableau, Power BI)
- Advanced skills inExcel(pivot tables, advanced formulas, data modeling)
- Strong understanding ofeconomic indicatorsand market research methodologies
- Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience withgeospatial analysis(GIS mapping) for economic development
- Knowledge ofpublic sector databases(e.g., Census, BLS, EMSI)
