Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing sanitation duties like bussing tables and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Process cash transactions accurately while balancing registers at shift end
- Assist in training new team members on food preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash register operation skills
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced shifts seamlessly
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to boost sales opportunities
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register balances
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail
