Duties
- Lead and motivate team members during shifts to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing retail sales transactions, cash handling, and food service orders accurately.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines, including bussing tables, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring proper food handling procedures.
- Oversee cash register operations, process cash transactions accurately, and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
- Support operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety management practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards within the food industry.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking across duties like cashiering, food prep, and customer service.
- Proven skills in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards in a restaurant or café setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in diverse environments such as grocery stores or food establishments.
