Customer Service / Order Entry Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service / Order Entry Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer support, processing customer orders accurately, and ensuring timely communication with customers, sales teams, and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process customer orders accurately in the company ERP/order management system
• Review orders for pricing, product availability, shipping information, and special instructions
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, shipping, and sales departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Resolve customer issues related to orders, shipments, returns, and product availability
• Maintain customer records and update account information as needed
• Provide order status updates and shipment tracking information
• Process returns, credits, and exchanges according to company policies
• Assist with invoicing, documentation, and administrative support tasks
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
• 1–3 years of customer service, order entry, administrative support, or inside sales experience preferred
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or order management systems preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
