Overview
Location: Onsite, Pittsburgh PA Job Type: Full Time Work Authorization: US Citizen / GC The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector. This individual will be responsible for detecting nonconformities, preventing defects, and maintaining accurate quality records.Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of Quality Control experience with strong computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and basic understanding of electronics.Responsibilities
- Manage daily inspection priorities in coordination with Warehouse and Production managers
- Communicate internally quality issues identified during inspection or identified during production process / material handling
- Conduct outgoing inspection to validate material moved through the production process meets quality standards
- Accurately input data into appropriate data storage locations for all inspected material
- Validate incoming and outgoing inspection documentation is available, organized, and complete
- Prepare reports for inspection failures, and provide In-process inspections as needed
- Provide training and support for the Production team for quality-related process steps and other topics as needed
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience with incoming and outgoing Quality Control inspection
- Demonstrated level of technical capability and responsibility
- Very good written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel
- Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment is required
