We’re partnering with a fast-growing food e-commerce marketplace that connects consumers with the most iconic and beloved dishes from top restaurants, chefs, and small food makers across the U.S. Their platform empowers independent food businesses to reach nationwide audiences while delivering comfort and culinary joy to customers everywhere.
They are seeking a highly analytical, data-driven marketing leader to oversee Performance Marketing for offline channels. This role will be responsible for owning end-to-end strategy, execution and reporting for the Audio, Linear TV, and Direct Mail marketing programs. This will be an individual contributor role that owns the relationship with three agencies.
This is a hybrid role based in downtown Manhattan.
About the Role:
- Oversee the seven figure offline channel marketing budget, making recommendations on allocation across channels
- Develop & employ a testing roadmap to improve the incrementality and scale of
- offline channels
- Partner with internal analytics & data science teams to identify customer targeting & optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with our in-house & agency creative teams to produce performant ads that balance data-driven insights with an artistic “eye” for what will resonate with customers
- Drive efficient results through the integration of new insights, learnings derived from performance analysis, and management of our agency partners
- Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative practices to keep their strategy fresh and competitive
What We’re Looking For:
- 7 years of experience owning an end-to-end performance marketing channel, ideally Audio, Direct Mail, and/or TV.
- Strong understanding of Audio, Direct Mail, and/or TV marketing best practices & industry standards across audience targeting, creative, and measurement
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and articulate them to executives
- Deep familiarity with e-commerce KPIs & funnel metrics, and an ability to recognize trends and uncover insights from ad, creative, and customer data
- A strong grasp of ROI, incrementality, and measurement & testing frameworks (A/B tests, holdout tests, etc.)
- High level of ownership, attention to detail, and urgency to act on learnings & fix issues - you treat each ad dollar you spend as if it were your own
