Senior Accounting Manager

Our client in Atlanta is adding an Accounting Manager to their team. This role supports a growing real estate investment platform and offers the chance to take full ownership of property‑level accounting. The environment is small, collaborative, and fast‑moving, with new acquisitions underway and a development project in progress. The position is primarily in‑office, with potential flexibility for a 3/2 hybrid schedule once established.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all property‑level accounting functions, including general ledger activity, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR, cash management, and financial packages for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the portfolio.
• Partner with operations and leadership to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting.
• Assist with onboarding new acquisitions and accounting setup for development activity.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Real estate accounting experience required.
• Strong understanding of property‑level accounting and month‑end close processes.
• Experience with Entrata is a significant plus.
• Preferred Experience supporting acquisitions or development projects.
• Familiarity with property management or accounting systems.
