Our client in Lawrenceville, GA is hiring for the role of Collections Specialist. This position supports a large portfolio of retail tenants and store locations, focusing on managing collections, reviewing ledgers, and maintaining accurate account records. The role works closely with accounting and leadership teams to monitor delinquent accounts and ensure timely payment processing. This is a fully onsite opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Contact tenants regarding outstanding balances for rent, CAM, and other invoiced charges via phone or email.
- Review account ledgers, send late notices, and monitor incoming payments to ensure accurate posting.
- Prepare monthly collections reports and support A/R meetings with status updates on delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate payment plans, prepare accounts for advanced collections, and compile documentation for outside agencies.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior collections experience is a plus.
