10 Stars Property Management is hiring an experienced Residential Remodeling Technician / Renovation Handyman to join our growing maintenance and construction team.
This position focuses on remodeling, renovating, repairing, and preparing residential rental properties. Work will be completed at both vacant homes and tenant-occupied properties.
We are looking for a dependable and skilled remodeling professional with hands-on experience in kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, drywall, flooring, carpentry, painting, trim work, basic plumbing, light electrical maintenance, and general home repairs.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can independently complete a variety of residential remodeling and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete residential remodeling, renovation, and property repair projects
- Repair, patch, finish, and texture drywall
- Prepare surfaces and complete professional interior painting
- Install and repair luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and other flooring materials
- Complete kitchen renovations, including cabinet installation, hardware, trim, and finish work
- Complete bathroom renovations, including vanities, fixtures, toilets, sinks, and finish repairs
- Install and repair interior and exterior doors
- Install baseboards, molding, trim, shelving, and finish carpentry
- Complete framing and general carpentry repairs
- Perform basic plumbing repairs involving faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, and fixtures
- Complete routine electrical maintenance involving outlets, switches, lights, and fixtures
- Perform punch-list, rent-ready, handyman, and general property maintenance tasks
- Diagnose repair concerns and recommend practical solutions
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment safely
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Document completed work with notes and photographs
- Ensure work meets professional residential remodeling and construction standards
Qualifications
- Three or more years of residential remodeling, renovation, construction, handyman, or property maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, and routine electrical maintenance
- Experience completing kitchen and bathroom renovation projects
- Ability to troubleshoot repair issues and complete quality work independently
- Ability to properly use hand tools, power tools, and common construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
- Must have basic tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment
- Ability to perform physical labor, including bending, climbing, standing, and working in different property conditions
