Part-Qualified Accountant

Barden is delighted to be working with an innovative tech client of ours to identify a finalist Part-Qualified Accountant/Qualified by Experience Accountant to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. Our client is looking for someone agile and ambitious to join the team due to significant growth.

This person will be involved in all areas of the finance function and won’t be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved in day-to-day operational finance together with various project work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment application, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Oversee credit control processes and prepare aging reports to track and escalate overdue accounts.
• Process supplier invoices and manage payment runs, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.
• Maintain payment records for audits and support vendor communication regarding queries.
• Record all financial transactions accurately and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Monitor daily cash collections, liaise with customers to resolve payment issues, and report updates to the finance manager.
• Support month/year-end closing, ensure compliance with policies, and assist in preparing financial statements.
