Assistant Accountant (Dublin City Centre)

Barden is delighted to assist our client, an Irish owned company, to identify a Accounts Assistant for their finance team based in Dublin City Centre. This is a newly created position and joins at an exciting time as the business experiences a period of high growth.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to develop their career In finance. With internal pathways for progression this opportunity would link in well with your professional accountant qualification pathways (ACCA or other).

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Sales analysis and reporting;
• Processing intercompany expenses;
• Assisting with management accounts;
• Accruals and prepayments;
• Working with various internal teams;
• Analysis and budgeting on a monthly basis;
• P&L and balance sheet responsibilities;
• Involvement in month-end process;
• Working with wider finance on projects where necessary.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Working towards professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• 1 years’ in a similar position.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Growth mindset.
• Ability to communication internally with all levels of the business,
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, ever-changing environment.
