Role Highlights:

Compliance Guardian: 🔍

  • Conduct transaction monitoring to ensure that customer activity aligns with their established profile (based on KYC/EDD data), and manage communication with end-clients and partners to obtain the necessary documentation. 
  • Conduct onboarding and periodic client reviews in accordance with AML Manual, company policies, and MLRO guidelines.
  • Perform KYC and DD checks, reviewing and classifying documents based on risk categories.
  • Use compliance screening tools to verify client profiles meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure records are accurate and up to date.

Regulatory Navigator: 🧭

  • Prepare reports with data on high-risk countries, clients, business types, and sanctions for the MLRO and Board.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, and reviews by regulators, banks, or partners.
  • Support the Compliance team in daily operations and ad-hoc compliance tasks.
  • Monitor and assess changes in regulations and ensure company policies remain aligned.
  • Conduct on-site visits to client premises to ensure compliance with AML standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to maintain seamless compliance coordination.

Team Player & Detail Driver: 🤝

  • Provide support to the Compliance Department on various operational matters.
  • Ensure clear, professional communication in both Greek and English.
  • Be proactive, organized, and committed to continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act with integrity, diligence, and professionalism in all tasks.

Essential Qualities:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or related field
🧠 Knowledge and/or experience in compliance and risk is preferred
📄 Familiarity with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements
📜 CySEC Certificate of Professional Competence is a plus
💬 Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken)
🔍 Excellent attention to detail
🧩 Strong teamwork and time management skills
Professional, reliable, and able to handle responsibility
