Summary of Position

A Project Foreman is the supervisory role on construction sites, responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. Project Forman direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues that occur on the job site. Ensure that safety rules are followed on the site at all times and develop schedules based on employee and sub-contractor availability, monitor supplies/tools.

Job Duties and Responsibilites

Staying in contact with clients ensure that they are always informed

Completing work orders with crew and turning them into the office for billing

Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel

Turning in proper paperwork for all jobs including completed work orders, change orders as they occur with client signatures, work logs and other paperwork as assigned

Managing crew, project progress and resource allocation

Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and sub-contractors Training, managing and mentoring employees

Choosing crew members from ZWB to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs

Coordinating materials and equipment delivery with ZWB office staff

Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear and procedures

Managing quality standards for all sites Informing hired sub-contractors when you are ready for them at worksite

Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably

Regularly reporting project status to Office Staff in order to keep schedule on track and customers informed

Complete end of day log to ensure billable hours, needs and progress on project is reported

Representing ZWB General Construction and yourself in a professional manor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
