The Quality Engineer works collaboratively with production, engineering, finished goods, customer service, and suppliers to ensure that processes are followed, and process outcomes meet or exceed expectations. Leader in advanced quality planning, supplier quality feedback/improvements, and assisting team members in quality processes and continuous improvement. Support New Product Development and Change Management with both internal engineering and with suppliers to support print requirements Support and help improve Advanced Quality Planning activities within product development and sourcing for process hand-off to Manufacturing, including measurement devices Develop QMS documentation Assist with calibration management planning and execution according to IAPMO standards Perform / Approve First Article Inspections Assure manufacturing follows predetermined quality standards Perform internal quality system and product audits according to ISO 9001, IAPMO standards and Zurn organizational quality management system Report supplier non conformances through the Global Supplier Quality reporting system and Business Unit systems Coordinate nonconforming material containment process within the business unit Manage and support the CAR / CAPA process, working across departments internally and with suppliers and corporate supplier quality to resolve customer quality concerns Perform nonconforming material analysis Support Applications Engineering and Operations in clarifying production print in conjunction with documenting organizational knowledge Develop a knowledge of products across multiple platforms and mentor Quality Technicians Maintain quality records Support continuous improvement activities (#CI) across the company as required Attend trade shows as needed to benchmark measurement system improvements Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Four-year technical degree 3 years of experience Machining / foundry / sheet metal background a plus Knowledge of blueprint reading Proficient in MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook) Working knowledge of 8D / Safety problem solving GEBS knowledge a plus Ability to work with Hand Gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.) FARO or CMM knowledge a plus Domestic travel required; international travel possible Total Rewards and Benefits Competitive Salary Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life Insurance Matching 401(k) Contribution Health Savings Account Up to 3 Weeks Vacation 12 Paid Holidays Annual Bonus Eligibility Educational Reimbursement Matching Gift Program **THIRD PARTY AGENCY: Any unsolicited submissions received from recruitment agencies will be considered property of Zurn Elkay, and we will not be liable for any fees or obligations related to those submissions.** Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation What happens when two remarkable sustainability leaders come together as one?
