Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant COMMERCIAL Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our commercial properties, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value.

Duties:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance projects, working closely with contractors and vendors
- Conduct thorough tenant screenings, and prepare lease agreements
- Enforce lease terms and handle tenant disputes or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions, including rent payments, expenses, and maintenance requests
- Stay up-to-date with local market trends, rental rates, and fair housing regulations
- Utilize property management software (such as Appfolio) to track leasing activities, generate reports, and manage tenant information

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules
- Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Strong administrative skills to handle paperwork, financial records, and lease documentation accurately
- Familiarity with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Thorough understanding of fair housing regulations and ability to ensure compliance
