Are you passionate about working with adolescents that are struggling with substance use? We are looking for a License Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our team of Substance Use Counselors.

Responsibilities

• Complete substance use disorder evaluations as well as assess the clients strengths and needs throughout treatment.

• Provide group and individual counseling to clients.

• Facilitate educational, therapy, and support group meetings.

• Teach clients activities of daily living, recovery skills, and develop a treatment plan designed to meet their goals.

• Assure client safety by making contacts with social services, law enforcement, probation officers, and any other community resources as needed.

• Accurately complete all required documentation, observations, and notes of each client.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or 4 years experience in the field if licensed prior to the licensing bachelor degree requirement), preferably in social service field.

• Licensed as a LADC in MN or have the required education/training to become licensed as a LADC.

• Must meet the qualifications as an adolescent LADC.

Starting wage $52,000 to $58,240 per year dependent on experience.
