FARMER’S MARKET SALES Vendor
Our Farmer’s Market Sales position requires candidates who are dynamic, mature and outgoing in order to promote, sell and share the story behind our products through top-notch customer service. We want candidates that aren’t afraid to speak up, yet are courteous as they help our customers be paired with the right with Zulia sweet rolls to suit their needs and taste buds at the Farmer’s Markets in our area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (NOT LIMITED TO):
Provide exceptional customer service while engaging with each customer.
Effective selling through product knowledge and suggestive upselling to pair customers with the proper products in fast a paced busy setting.
Accurately counts money totals for customers and adheres to proper cash handling procedures.
Creates attractive and welcoming merchandising space.
Execute proper food handling and cleanliness standards.
Follows proper packing/unpacking procedures.

Zulia Bakery is looking for sales associates to work at WNC Ashville Farmers Market.

We are seeking reliable, fun, motivated, bread people to run a few market stands.

Currently the opportunities are for Fridays, Saturday and Sundays.

Requirements you must meet:

-Must be 18 years or older.

*Personal phone use is restricted while selling at the farmers markets

-Vehicle that can transport merchandise and set up equipment.

-Ability to put up an EZ-Up Ability to count change

-Must be friendly and very customer service oriented. This position requires to be standing some hours, to be engaging with customers by offering samples of the product. The person should not be shy to call in the customer passing by to offer to look at the product. Each person walking around

the market is important.

CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:
Experience in customer service. Food service experience preferred.
Cash handling and register experience preferred.
Sense of urgency to assist every customer and find new customers.
High attention to detail.
A problem solver who actively seeks solutions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Morning shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends only
