As we continue to grow and expand our presence, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join us in delivering exceptional service and culinary excellence.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the operations of Zukku. Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and fostering a positive work environment for our team members.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
• Train, mentor, and supervise team members to ensure they deliver exceptional service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency, while also ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance the guest experience.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as inventory ordering, invoicing, and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Sushi experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of sushi and poke preparation techniques and familiarity with Asian cuisine is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
