We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team of qualified auto technicians. You will be responsible for the maximum reliability and functionality

• Annual tool program-we will reimburse you up to $500 a year for new tools

Responsibilities for a Diesel Mechanic:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Keep logs on work and issues
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
• Preform vehicle road-test after repairs

Skills for a Diesel Mechanic:

• Proven experience as auto mechanic
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
• Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus

Mechanics must bring their own tools. A tool program is available.

Pay: $25.00-31.00 per hour
