ZSN Systems & Solutions LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. The School Psychologist plays a critical role in promoting the overall well-being and academic success of students. They provide psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies to students, collaborate with teachers and parents, and contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school environment.Assignment details: Position: School PsychologistLocation: South CarolinaEmployment Type: [Full-time]Start date: ASAPEnd date: June 2024Zip code of a site: 29649Age Group: Elementary, Middle and HighTotal hours per week: 40 hrs per weekDuration of Contract: School Year 2023-2024Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of concern.2.
Provide individual counseling and intervention services to students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.3. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention plans to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.4. Offer guidance and consultation to teachers and parents regarding students' psychological and learning needs.5. Conduct group counseling sessions to address recurring issues or specific student populations.6.
Participate in the development and implementation of behavioral management programs.7. Help create a positive and inclusive school environment through initiatives such as anti-bullying campaigns and social-emotional learning programs.8. Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' special education needs.9. Stay up to date on research and best practices in the field of school psychology.10.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records according to legal and ethical guidelines.11. Collaborate with community resources to provide support and referrals as needed.12. Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.Qualifications: 1. Master's or Doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.2.
State certification/licensure as a school psychologist3. Proven experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services to students.4. Knowledge of educational frameworks, learning theories, and evidence-based interventions.5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.6.
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.7. Excellent organizational and time management skills.8. Proficiency in relevant assessment tools and software.9. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.10.
