Duties of the Supply Chain Supervisor include:

• Leadership to ensure the successful movements and management of 3 million tons of made to order products
• Plans and prepares production schedules for all departments in steel making and rolling production
• Grow and develop a team for green field steel mill
• Analyze production specifications and capacity data to coordinate meeting customer orders
• Implement forecasting and analytical tools
• Track and improve material programs, including supply chain management, finished inventory planning and Inventory KPI measurements
• Effective interaction with all personnel at the facility

Qualifications for the position include:

• 4 yr degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field
• 3 yrs of Leadership experience in supply chain or related field
• 3 yrs of experience in Production Planning
• Excellent organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail, analyze information and initiate decision making.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with an orientation towards continuous improvement

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with automated materials management and related technologies
• Experience with rail or barge logistics
