Zrpath Behavioral Health Services is Hiring a School Based - Behavioral Health - Spanish Speaking Near Glendale, AZ
Full time position under the supervision of the Clinical Director; The School Success Specialist will be assigned cases and will provide life skills and counseling services. The School Success Specialist will be responsible for the clinical progress of assigned clients, appropriate and timely documentation including developing individualized service plans, participates with treatment team for all planned meetings, coordination of care and clinical supervision with supervisor each week. We do provide clinical supervision towards independent licensure for those that are licensed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shift: Monday - Friday - hours vary, depending on school/client schedule. Must be available to work summer program and/or school break programs as needed. Scheduling with clients varies during summer/breaks
Physical Requirements include working indoor/outdoor conditions with frequent activity. Must be able to climb stairs, including frequent standing and moving throughout facility, must be able to perform these physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations. Frequent physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs)
Must be able to demonstrate ability to develop and maintain organized files, organized activities for youth (individual and/or group), strong skills in navigating through the community, and teaching youth/adolescents how to learn and implement skills to be successful
Must meet encounter goal each week and meet with assigned clients weekly
Creates individualized treatment plans with youth, school and caregiver, updates annually at minimum
Monitor the progress and success of the specific interventions that are part of the Treatment Plan
Report successes and failures of the interventions to treatment team, in addition to changes in the client to supervisor and provider agency for coordination of care purposes
Provide options or plan for a therapeutic activity, recreational outing and/or social skills learning program for each group
Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions with supervisor (individual and/or group)
Completes progress notes and submits all necessary paperwork on a weekly basis to supervisor
Attend provider and special parent meetings as required
Maintains confidential information on children, and maintains appropriate contact with parents to ensure a positive approach
Creates and maintains a learning environment appropriate for the age of the children enrolled, providing choice and a variety of approaches specific to each client
Must demonstrate understanding of clinical knowledge and will participate in additional trainings to increase learning when needed
Perform additional duties as assigned, which are consistent with the general responsibilities of the position
Transporting Clients in your personal vehicle
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health field (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work) or Bachelor's Degree in similar field with at least 5 years of experience working directly with children in a behavioral health setting
Licensed/associate license preferred
Background in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) preferred as well as trauma focused CBT
Must have working knowledge and understanding of the Arizona Behavioral Health delivery system and experience working with children and families with problems of abuse, neglect, and mental health
Experience working with children and families addressing PTSD, adjustment issues, ADHD, Depression, DV issues, OCD, Anxiety D/O, relationship issues, sexual abuse and substance abuse issues
Understanding and ability to work with stakeholders such as DDD, Juvenile Probation, and CPS
Must have minimum 1 year experience in general counseling, treatment plan development, assessment and/or group counseling experience
Must have knowledge and understanding of the Arizona 12 principles
Must always represent Zarephath in the community in a professional manner
CPR and First Aid Certified
21 years of age
Possess a valid state driver's license
Must obtain and/or possess a Fingerprint Clearance Card
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Great customer service
Ability to work well in a team
Other duties as assigned
Fluent in Spanish and English is Required
Pay Rate: Pay per Service Pay Structure; During the 60 day probationary period initial salaries are $46,000-$48,000. After you will receive a base salary plus the pay per unit listed in the chart below. A unit is a measure of time spent either with the client or doing care coordination. 100 units is 25 hour per week face to face with clients.
