Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: - Manage and lead a team of employees during assigned shifts - Ensure excellent customer service by interacting with customers and addressing any concerns or issues - Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures - Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines - Conduct interviews and assist with the hiring process - Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the establishment, including the kitchen and dining area - Adhere to all health and safety regulations Experience: - Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role - Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus - Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others - Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary techniques - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Experience in interviewing and hiring new employees We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
