Senior Research Associate
Vancouver, WA (onsite)
Senior Research Associate will concentrate on assay development and various advanced techniques for our dynamic Drug Creation team in Reverse Immunology. As part of the Drug Creation team, you will work on various programs by developing and optimizing cell-based bioassays, ligand-binding potency, cellular uptake, cytotoxicity, ADCC, CDC, ADCP, and proliferation assays. This role requires knowledge of mechanism of action (MOA) assays with mammalian cells.
Responsibilities

• Developing and troubleshooting cell-based assays in a medium.
• Maintaining mammalian cells by regular splitting, media change, etc.
• Aiding in the execution of flow cytometry experiments to analyze cell lines.
• Analyzing data with SoftMax Pro, GraphPad Prism, or JMP
• Preparing and presenting progress reports to the team and other stakeholders as needed

Qualifications: Reviewing applicants for both Research Associate II and Sr. Research Associate Levels
Research Associate II:

• BSc in biology, cell biology, immunology, or a relevant field with 2 years of experience:
• Knowledge and practical experience of working in a cell culture laboratory showing confidence in working using aseptic techniques
• Ability to work in a matrixed, highly collaborative team environment

Senior Research Associate:

• MSc with 1 years of experience or BS in relevant field with 5 years of experience and track record of development of cell-based bioassays
• Knowledge and practical experience of working in a cell culture laboratory showing confidence in working using aseptic techniques
• Ability to work in a matrixed, highly collaborative team environment
• Track record of development of cell-based bioassays and potency assays, flow cytometry experience preferred.

The salary range for Research Associate II - Senior Research Associate is $72,000 - $95,000/year. Competitive equity package applies. Pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
