The Job:

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for effective implementation, management, oversight and delivery of complex software/IT projects in alignment with ZoomCare operational objectives. You will develop and oversee project plans, teams, budget and schedule and drive projects to completion to meet identified success criteria on time and within budget. The Senior Technical Project Manager communicates timely and relevant information related to project objectives, parameters, status and outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams. The Senior Technical Project Manager works as a member of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Essential Functions:

Lead and/or coordinate cross-functional project teams which may include subject matter experts from material, mechanical, software, systems, technology, facilities, and safety

  • Set standards for the discovery and execution of software-based implementation projects including request intake and cyber security and BAA concurrence
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for all team members assigned to the project or initiative.
  • Facilitate critical discussions with vendor(s) and local Development Engineering to ensure project objectives are aligned to ZoomCare interests
  • Ensure all project deliverables are executed to specific technology standards, building codes, guidelines, regulations, etc.
  • Evaluate, implement, manage, oversee and deliver multiple and simultaneous projects
  • Provide effective management over all aspects of project phases and/or entire projects, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting and monitoring
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges
  • Engage sponsor regularly in progress updates and barrier removal
  • Ensure definition of project scope, constraints and objectives are documented
  • Establish and define milestones and appropriate ownership responsibilities, negotiate timelines/schedules and develop detailed work plans
  • Document projects throughout execution to the standards established by the PMO
  • Direct teams responsible for project development including design, analysis, feasibility studies, budget and schedule; manage project expectations and actively lead team toward meeting project success criteria and completion of deliverables
  • Manage project budget and ensure proper documentation and controls are in force and effective
  • Prepare material and status reports; present to project groups, committees and senior leadership
  • Ensure communication plans are executed throughout the project
  • Ensure workflow documentation is updated prior to project launch
  • Ensure success of end-user training prior to project launch
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks, review vendor deliverables and work to mitigate potential risk to the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of project management experience required 
  • 2 years of leading technology-specific implementations
  • Healthcare experience required
  • PMP, PgMP, and/or comparable project management certification complete or near complete
  • High degree of proficiency in Google Suite, Smartsheets, Microsoft Project or other Project Management software

Compensation:

  • Exciting benefits package including: Health & Wellness Benefits, 401K with employer match, Paid Time Off, Paid Parental Leave, Sabbatical program and additional benefits and rewards.
  • Pay: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Working Conditions:

  • Project timelines, production releases, and work volume / deadlines may require more than 40 hours per week and/or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job
  • Occasional travel may be required

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

As an organization devoted to the health and well-being of our community, ZoomCare requires its employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.
