Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our home health agency. The Behavior Technician will work with children in their home, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Qualifications:
Experience and Responsibilities:
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of behavior management principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical records and documentation
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from BCBAs
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals, families, and caregivers
- Background in special education or behavioral health is a plus
