Zones is Hiring an Integration Engineer Near Kent, WA
The Integration Engineer will have a broad range of experience and technical expertise in multiple information technology domains (e.g., network, application, infrastructure, operating systems) and are viewed as critical technology resources and advisors, interfacing directly with internal business units and external clients.
- Performs job function in accordance to the Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS)
- Define the end-to-end project requirements that have high impact and risk exposure to the organization and ensure the detailed design and development remain consistent with the strategies, design patterns, and best practices established by enterprise architecture
- Work with customer to define SOW and POC testing and signoff.
- Serve as the single point of contact on projects; providing technical leadership and timely communication.
- Serve as an abstraction layer, eliminating organizational complexities through seamless end-to-end delivery.
- Positioned to work across all technology domains, helping to construct complex systems using standard modular product stacks.
- Coordinate infrastructure testing for integrated components and their associated software; validating interoperability and identifying potential performance issues.
- Leverage the use of standard technology solutions to decrease time to market while also lowering support and maintenance costs. Leverage design reviews as a key element in ensuring that an application or system uses infrastructure properly, complies with applicable standards, and uses appropriate shareable components and services.
- Work with QA Department to develop simple concise documentation for new / changed process
- Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in a technical role
- Cisco CCNA Minimum

- A strong candidate for this position will possess the following skills
- Expert knowledge and hands-on skills for a minimum of two different technology domains (windows, Unix, VMWare, database, network, etc.) and a strong working knowledge of other domains
- Extensive knowledge of information system technologies as reflected in formal Microsoft, Cisco, VM, or Active director certifications desirable
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an information technology engineer
- Experience in evaluating, selecting, and developing new products or services
- Experience developing and presenting financial/business case recommendations to customers
- Experience leading projects, providing technical leadership, and influencing others to follow standard direction
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in a technical role.
- Cisco CCNA Minimum

- Expert knowledge and hands-on skills for a minimum of two different technology domains (Windows, Unix, VMWare, database, network, etc.) and a strong working knowledge of other domains
- Extensive knowledge of information system technologies as reflected in formal Microsoft, Cisco, VM, or Active directory certifications desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an information technology engineer
- Experience in evaluating, selecting, and developing new products or services
- Experience developing and presenting financial/business case recommendations to customers
- Experience leading projects, providing technical leadership, and influencing others to follow standard direction.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making experience (identifying and analyzing problems, weighing relevance and accuracy of information, generating and evaluating alternative solutions and making recommendations)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, ability to convey technical aspects to a non-technical audience
- Strong attention to detail and delivery of high-quality results.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to research issues never before encountered.
- Basic knowledge of programming concepts.
- Self-starter, able to keep up with industry trends.
- Intermediate level of programming skills and development experience in JavaScript and HTML.
- Knowledge of scripting languages and mobile app development is a plus.
- Strong command of SQL.
