ZOLLER, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for TMS/Tool Management Solutions to support our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Technical Support Engineer — Ann Arbor, Michigan

Responsibilities:

• Answering calls on the technical support hotline, and assisting customers/service technicians
• Repairing computers and machines and installing and calibrating new machines
• Performing technical maintenance at customer locations, as needed
• Supporting customers, field service engineers, and sales with software and hardware troubleshooting and software demo versions
• Converting databases and installing them on database servers
• Downloading software from ZOLLER Germany and distributing it to engineers and customers
• Troubleshooting PC and network issues, setting up desktops and workstations
• Training new employees/customers, as needed
• Providing backup to the shipping and receiving department, as needed
• Processing new software deliveries
• Follow-up on open tickets with ZOLLER Germany and the customers
• Testing and evaluating software tests for new/existing software
• Creation of software requirement specifications
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Must not require sponsorship now or in the future to work in United States
• 3-5 years technical experience in manufacturing, informatics, or related technical field
• Proven experience with computers, Microsoft® Office, MS Office and ERP systems
• Well organized with strong analytical skills
• Able to communicate proficiently, verbally and in writing
• Ability to cope with a sometimes hectic environment
• Be a flexible team player and work independently
