Job Summary:

Reporting to a Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all material flow and transactions into and out of the assigned department in order to promote efficiency and achieve schedule attainment. In addition, performs and documents the testing of the products to ensure conformance to specifications using various testing equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Work with the Production Planning team and Production Supervisor to execute a detailed build schedule that assures attainment of customer requirements.
  • Monitor build schedules and ensure that all required materials/components have been requested, are available and delivered.
  • Inform Production Supervisor of any shortcoming that adversely impact production.
  • Based on production schedule, coordinate the timely printing of labels for work orders.
  • Review labels for compliance with established standards and ensures an adequate number are available to support the scheduled build.
  • Track work-in-progress (WIP) from start of work order to completion of build to include paperwork and movement of product through the process and in Oracle.
  • Create and coordinate DMR and MRB activities related to product built by the assigned department.
  • Ability to coordinate, execute and perform Line Clearance / Line Load per SOP-654.
  • Inspect, test and document Tin to Wire products for compliance to specifications using testing instruments and captures results on QC-1442.
  • Inspect, perform and document Leak Test of products for compliance to specifications using testing instruments and captures results on QC-1443.
  • Fill out required fields in Oracle DHR and perform Oracle move transactions for the Manufacturing DHR review per SOP-1007.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.

QUALIFICATIONS

Any similar combination of Education & Experience is acceptable.

Education

  • High School Diploma required or
  • Equivalent required

Work Experience

  • Three-to-five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production scheduling desirable. required and
  • Experience with use of mechanical test equipment. required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated and detailed oriented
  • Capable of reading and understanding work orders and production schedules
  • Strong communications skills – ability review details, assess a situation and communicate same to the Production team
  • Good computer skills – use of Microsoft Office, Oracle and production tracking software required
