Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitoring their condition and administering treatments to ensure their well-being. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Department: NEUROSCIENCE ICU
• Shift timings: 19:00-07:30 Hours. Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
• Per Week: 36 Hours
• Duration: 3 months Contract

Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Administering solutions and medications such as vasopressors and sedatives
• Managing airway
• Controlling body temperature
• Facilitating brain death testing
• Managing drains, including extraventricular drains (EVD) in the brain
• Administering medication
• Monitoring intracerebral pressure (ICP) levels
• Assessing neurological conscious and unconscious patients
• Overseeing organ donation and procurement
• Supporting and educating patient and family
• Providing palliative and end-of-life care

Certifications & Clearance Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• The National Institutes of Health - Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
