Role: Sr. Project Manager - Data Governance

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite – Hybrid)

Salary: $140k/year

Job Description:

The Senior, Project Manager of Data Governance is responsible for leading program level enterprise-grade solutions for priority use cases. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project delivery to ensure continuous improvement of the data landscape. The Senior Project Manager will act in the capacity of an individual contributor and will collaborate with teams of data stewards, data engineers, third party contractors and partner closely with Business Units and EDA to support analytics execution. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Data Governance, who leads this newly formed unit to accelerate deployment and value delivery from data and analytics, and coordinate efforts across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Closely coordinate with Data Stewards and Engineers to conduct data transformations, cleaning, classification, and simplification to ensure data can be used by analytics teams and data scientists for priority use cases; focused on "last mile" transformations on select data required for use cases.
• Lead the onboarding & offboarding efforts of Data Governance pods (associates, contractors, hybrid).
• Work with business stakeholders and technical product managers to define scope, timelines & expectations for program level efforts such as customer data, product data, financial data & etc.
• Collaborate with the various project managers & scrum masters across engineering, as part of the delivery process.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Operations to future-proof Data Governance software, tools, code, and architecture.
• Institute processes to ensure data pulled from various sources meets quality standards, is curated and enhanced for analytical use, and there is a "single source of truth."
• Work with Legal and Privacy teams to adhere to data privacy and security standards.

Qualifications:

• Project management experience with over 10 years of experience in the field that can include:
• Experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies
• Experience working with teams that build enterprise-grade data warehouses (either on-prem or on cloud)
• Experience building and managing project plans
• Experience building project estimates and managing budgets
• Customer-centric and experienced with cross-functional collaboration.
• Community builder who can foster a data and analytics culture and support data-driven thinking and discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $140,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
