Department: Med Surg 5E
Shift timing: 18:45-07:15 Hours Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)
Per Week: 36 Hours.
Unit Capacity: 34 Beds Population Served: Adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients. Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60 ) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Successful completion of a rhythm test
