Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. They also are interested in learning more about the dental field, specifically implantology or just oral surgery in general. You will get hands-on experience and knowledge working directly with the doctor and his medical assistant.

Duties:

- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical and dental instruments and operatories following established protocols.
- Operate autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor and track inventory of supplies needed for sterilization procedures and surgical procedures.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens.

Requirements:

- Willingness to learn and grow in the dental industry.
- Being highly motivated and a strong team member.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Certification in sterilization techniques or willingness to obtain certification.
- CPR certification is a plus but not a requirement. This is an entry level position.

Part- time : 3 days a week, Wednesday 9:30am- 5pm, Thursdays 9:30am- 6pm and Friday 8:30am-5pm, these hours may change

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 25 per week
