CAR WASH ASSISTANT MANAGER

HOURLY WAGE: $19.00/ hour

GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists Car Wash Site Manager with operating the auto wash, and manages the site when the manager is not present.

• Complete morning site opening or evening site closing procedures
• Monitor wash process and adjust / maintain equipment
• Monitor site consumables inventory and order refills
• Answer / resolve customer questions / concerns

Greet customers, guide customers / vehicles onto conveyor, and prepare vehicles for wash. As directed by the manager, help maintain a clean and functional site. Importantly, always project a friendly attitude.

SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes, supervise Attendants when Car Wash Site Manager is not present

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Car Wash Site Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Supervisory experience required, preferably in the service industry; auto wash experience a plus
• Strong leadership and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers in a clear, friendly, and professional manner; command of the English language required
• Ability to work independently and within established guidelines as necessary
• Ability to perform responsibilities both indoors and outdoors
• Willing to wear designated uniform and comply with personal appearance requirements
• Reliable transportation to and from work (on-site parking provided)
• Weekend availability
