Zions Bank has an exciting opportunity in our Sale Lake City, UT market for a Real Estate Commercial Loan Officer (Home-Builder Industry Specialist).
The Real Estate Banking Group (Residential Builder Finance) offers Residential Construction Loan products. Focusing on Vertical Construction financing and Residential Land Development loans. The Vertical Construction financing includes detached, attached, or condominium units. This group also offers Acquisition and Development (A&D) for horizontal development of finished lots plus Land Acquisition for immediate development.
As a Real Estate Commercial Loan Officer, you will be seeking new clients including home builders and residential developers along the greater Wasatch Front with some interaction with prospects in Southern Utah.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
3-5 years of direct Residential Construction Loan Officer experience
Responsible for generating and servicing a wide variety of Real Estate Commercial loans, particularly to the home-building industry
Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts
Represents the Bank in the community and respective marketing areas for the development and growth of new loan business
Experience in interviewing clients for various loan needs
Responsible for initial underwriting with ongoing monitoring of credit performance and take necessary actions as needed
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing
