ZIO is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Warehouse Specialistin keeping record of all product and material for ZIO.
The Warehouse/Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for routine and impromptu purchases made by ZIO from our affiliated vendors, maintaining an organized warehouse and maintaining an adequate and accurate inventory of parts and material for the timely delivery of projects and client support.
Work Activities and Duties
- Organizing material in the warehouse in the appropriate areas
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
- Maintaining accurate counts of materials on hand and works with the Procurement Agent to re-order material for stock
- Maintaininga safe and clean work environment
- Updating the database to reflect appropriate minimum and maximum stock quantities
- Identifying damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notifying the supervisor immediately
- Working with the team to perform annual inventory counts
- Following tracking information/ETAs and communicating with the project team on early arrivals or delays
- Cross-referencing detailed purchase orders with packing lists, material lists and the actual product received to ensure quality and efficiency
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
