Summary: Zimmer Communications is growing! We are looking to add a Research Analyst to our team in Columbia, Missouri. The Research Analyst will provide support to our sales and marketing team by analyzing and curating relevant market research into marketing proposals for a variety of clients. The Research Analyst will also be vital to ensuring all marketing materials stay up to date and relevant.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct digital audits on client and prospect digital properties to identify ways to optimize digital presence.
  • Research relevant industries and business in order to build prospecting lists for the sales team.
  • Build a diverse range of proposals that target client needs and result in growth of client business.
  • Update internal sales and marketing materials with relevant, up to date market research as needed.
  • Assist in identifying client audiences and growth opportunities in relevant markets.
  • Maintain qualitative and quantitative information for prospective and existing clients within company software.
  • Participate in research projects as delegated by leadership.
  • Advise sales team and additional staff on market research and strategy.
  • Detect patterns behind data and understand what these patterns might mean for relevant industries.
  • Develop case studies based on client success stories.
  • Prospect co-op opportunities with local businesses and reach out to relevant businesses to foster relationships. Provide support for the sales team on these appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Genuine interest in market research and analysis
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify and discuss market trends
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities
  • Ability to learn new software quickly (training provided)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
