Sr. GenAI Engineer

Location : Remote and Onsite only twice a month ( Washington DC Area )

Duration : Long term ongoing plus extensions

Job Description: As a Senior GenAI Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that drive innovation and business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to solve complex problems and enhance products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of AI-driven applications, algorithms, and models.
• Conduct research and implement state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts to gather requirements and define project goals.
• Build and maintain scalable and reliable AI infrastructure, pipelines, and workflows.
• Implement best practices for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in AI development and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and technologies in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred).
• Extensive experience (8 years) in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C .
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in deploying AI models in production environments and monitoring their performance.
• Certifications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields are a plus (e.g., TensorFlow Developer Certificate, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty).
